Anisotropy of the characteristics of products behind the front of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis

Abstract: Structure formation in condensed products of high-temperature synthesis is studied within the framework of a mathematical model. The mechanism of formation of the anisotropic properties of products determined by the direction of propagation of the front is analyzed. Steady-state and dynamic regimes of front propagation are studied.
