Fractal theory of transition of slow burning to detonation in gases

Abstract: A theory of transition of slow burning to detonation in which where the turbulent flame is represented as a set with fractional dimensions – fractal – is proposed. An expression for the path of the transition section during flame propagation from the closed end of a tube is obtained.
