Simulation of pulverized coal combustion in a turbulent flow

Abstract: A numerical model has been developed for calculating pulverized coal combustion in a two-dimensional turbulent axisymmetric flow on a gaseous oxidant. The radiation is considered in the four-flow model. Satisfactory agreement with the available experimental data is obtained.
