Investigation of the process of conversion of the energy of combination explosive charges into useful forms of explosive work

In this paper, we have investigated combination coaxial charges consisting of explosives of the GFTA type at the center and an inert mixture along the periphery. We have determined the shape of the detonation wavefront and its propagation velocity, the turning angle of the front, and the velocity of the shock wave propagating along the periphery. We have investigated the fragmentation of metallic tubes filled with the combination coaxial charge.
