Abstract:
The laws of combustion-wave propagation in bubble media are considered, taking account of the thermal motion of bubbies and the associated motion of liquid and gas phases. On the basis of a model in which the combustion wave is represented as a set of three characteristic zones corresponding to heating of the vapor-gas mixture, chemical reaction, and heat transfer from the combustion products, a system of equations relating the final and initial parameters of the process is obtained. The basic characteristics of combustion-wave propagation are compared for models with expanding and frozen bubbles.
