Structure of the superconductive (Bi – Pb) – 4457 ceramic following explosive compaction

Abstract: Metallographic and micro-x-ray-spectral analysis methods have been applied to explosive compacts of (Bi – Pb) – 4457 to reveal their phase compositions. The presence of lead has been establshed in this case only for the Bi–2223 phase.
