A weak asymptotic solution of the phase-field system in the case of confluence of free boundaries in the Stefan–Gibbs–Thomson problem

Abstract: We analyze the confluence of free boundaries for binary mixtures in the Stefan–Gibbs–Thomson problem. Using the method of weak asymptotics, we obtain a global-time formula for a weak asymptotic solution of the phase-field system in this case.
