Abstract: Proximity effects in structures with helimagnetic ordering are investigated. Structures with sharp boundaries were prepared by magnetron sputtering. Results indicating a change in the magnetic state of a helimagnet under the influence of superconductivity were obtained by polarized neutron reflectometry. A new type of structure with alternating layers of a superconductor and a rare-earth helimagnet is proposed for studying magnetic proximity effects. The results of studies using X-ray methods and atomic force microscopy demonstrate the high quality of the obtained structures.

Keywords: helimagnetism, superconductivity, heterostructures, superlattices, neutron reflectometry.
