Abstract: The synthesis of fullerenol-24 (C$_{60}$(OH)$_{24}$) with some transition and rare earth metals – C$_{60}$(ONa)$_x$(O$_2M$)$_{(24-x)/2}$, C$_{60}$(ONa)$_x$(O$_3M$)$_{(24-x)/3}$, $M$ = Co, Cu, Mn, Zn, Gd, Tb is described. Identification of adducts was carried out using the methods of elemental analysis, infrared and electron spectroscopy, complex thermal analysis, high-performance liquid chromatography and dynamic light scattering. The solubility of adducts in aqueous solutions in the natural temperature range has been studied. The use of these adducts as microfertilizers for spring barley in the Republic of Kazakhstan led to a general increase in both its yield and resistance to pathogenic microorganisms.

Keywords: adduct, fullerenol-24, transition metals, lanthanides, synthesis, identification, agricultural application, spring barley.
