Synthesis and study of nanostructures based on asbestos, silica and borate glasses with the inclusion of 2-methylbenzimidazole in a system of nanotubes or nanopores

Abstract: The results of a study of organic nanostructures prepared by introducing heterocyclic 2-methylbenzimidazole (MBI) molecules into nanopores of borosilicate glasses and nanotubes of mesoporous silica and chrysotile asbestos are presented. Nanostructures were studied using X-ray diffractometry, infrared absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence and dielectric spectroscopy.
