Heat capacity of the PbFe$_{0.5}$Nb$_{0.5}$O$_3$ multiferroic

Abstract: The temperature dependence of the heat capacity of the PbFe$_{0.5}$Nb$_{0.5}$O$_3$ multiferroic has been studied in the temperature range of 130–780 K. An excess heat capacity has been observed in the temperature range of 250–780 K. It has been shown that the temperature dependence of the excess heat capacity is associated with the manifestation of the Schottky effect in three-level systems.
