Kinetics of plastic deformation of impurity covalent crystals

Abstract: The specific features of dynamic dislocation aging in processes of deformation of covalent crystals have been investigated. For this purpose, there has developed a theory combining the synergetic model of the evolution of a dislocation ensemble in a perfect crystal with the model describing the interaction of individual dislocations with the impurity subsystem of the crystal. It has been noted that there is a difference between the dynamic dislocation aging of covalent materials and the well-studied behavior of alloys with a face-centered cubic crystal lattice. The qualitative results deepen and illustrate the concept of individual aging in an ensemble of different-age dislocations. Three modes of plastic flow experimentally observed in doped semiconductor materials have been substantiated.
