Effect of the microstructure of ultrathin YBaCuO films on the nonlinear microwave response

Abstract: Local measurements of the nonlinear microwave response were carried out using the near-field microwave technique for an ultrathin YBaCuO film with an inhomogeneous thickness distribution of 1–6 nm. Its microstructure has been studied using X-ray diffraction analysis. The experimental results indicate that the nonlinear response in the low temperature region may be related to the presence of Andreev bound states in the supercrystalline phase of the YBaCuO film.
