Kinetics of the titanium alloy structure at high-speed penetration of a striker

Abstract: Behavior of a titanium alloy is studied under conditions of a high-speed penetration at a speed of $\sim$ 2.0 km/s. Three penetration zones with different mechanisms of plastic deformation and fracture are observed in a target during its punching.
