Abstract:
The effect of magnetization formation for paramagnetic ions with spin $S$ = 1 in a solid under a zero magnetic field by pulsed manipulations with electron spins has been theoretically predicted. To this end, it is suggested to use crossed microwave pulses with different initial phases or finite pulses. Resonance cases where the microwave pulse frequency coincides with the frequency of level splitting in a zero field are described. It is shown that this effect is similar to the alignment–orientation transition, which is observed in optical experiments.
