Abstract: Ferrite nanoparticles (Fe$_{3}$O$_{4}$) were obtained in low-pressure arc discharge plasma. Studies have shown that the obtained nanoparticles have an average particle size of 9.4 nm, the crystalline phase of magnetite, have superparamegnets at room temperature, and a blocking temperature of 89 K. The behavior of nanoparticles in a magnetic field associated with a large specific surface is discussed.
