Abstract:
The magnetic susceptibility, electrical resistivity, and thermoelectric power of Ti$_{50}$Ni$_{50-x}$Cu$_{x}$ alloys with copper concentrations $x\le$ 25 at% have been measured in the temperature range of 2–500 K. The change in the electronic band structure near the Fermi level upon thermoelastic martensitic transformations, such as $B$2 $\leftrightarrow$$B$19', $B$2 $\leftrightarrow$$B$19 $\leftrightarrow$$B$19', and $B$2 $\leftrightarrow$$B$19, has been considered.
