Abstract:
The paper examines the usage potential of a new mathematical apparatus, n-tuple algebra (NTA), implementing a general theory of multiplace relations. It is shown that basic structures of both data and knowledge can be expressed as NTA objects whose matrix properties are investigated and used for acceleration of intelligence procedures. One of possible modifications of NTA, namely the algebra of conditional n-tuples, is introduced as well.
Keywords:n-tuple algebra, data and knowledge processing, matrix properties of relationals.
