Abstract:
The paper presents a design and implementation technology for group control systems, which are comprised of large number of autonomous components operating over computer network that is composed of heterogeneous nodes, i.e. operating under control of various operating systems, using various communication channels, etc. The proposed technology integrates various approaches and techniques, in particular, distributed decision making, service-oriented multi-agent architecture and peer-to-peer interaction. The developed technology is supported with software tools providing for efficient model-driven development of the distributed application software components, i.e. agents, and underpinning platform supporting peer-to-peer intelligent agent interaction. The technology is demonstrated on practical applications, in particular, for autonomous air traffic control within airport airspace.
