Abstract:
The main result is the determination of necessary and sufficient conditions for conjugacy of Levi factors of a finite-dimensional binary-Lie algebra over a field of characteristic $0$ (Theorem 5). In the course of the proof a detailed study of binary-Lie algebras coinciding with their squares is carried out. In particular, it is proved that the quotient of such an algebra modulo its center is a Mal'tsev algebra.
