Analysis of inventory levels based on fuzzy cost information

Abstract: In this paper, we consider the application of the theory of fuzzy sets for the analysis of the level of material inventories of an enterprise. To organize the production process at the enterprise, a certain level of inventories is created, which must be replenished at certain intervals. A large amount of inventory leads to exclusion funds from circulation; lack of inventories leads to interruptions in production. A need of analyzing the level of inventories appears. We propose to use fuzzy cost information for performing this analysis.
