Abstract:
The peculiarities of interaction of rare electron plasma component with surface macroinhomogeneities in the mirror reflection regime were investigated in the presence of crossed electric and magnetic fields. The analytical solution of (2R+3V)-dimensional kinetic equation is found. Nontrivial structure of the appeared near-wall current is discovered, them two-dimensional distribution is investigated in detail. With practical point of view the paper deals with the near-wall conductivity in the stationary plasma thruster. As far as possible the obtained results correspond to the existing experimental data. More than that the executable investigations allow to put the rightful task to create the artificial channel insulator suppressing the anomalous erosion and providing a given lifetime of plasma thruster.
