Abstract:
The calculation's results of microwave streamer discharge are presented for several specific values of the background field amplitude. The model that has been used takes into account ohmic heating, hydrodynamic processes, ionization, diffusion of electrons etc. The most complex part of the calculations has been to determine spatial deformation of the electromagnetic field caused by given distribution of conductivity. Particular attention in this work has been given to the specifics of calculations of the field deformation where the length of a conductive object is comparable with half the length of the electromagnetic wave.
