Abstract:
The results of development of the instrumental package MEKOM intended for long-term regular measurements of atmospheric parameters on the Mars surface are discussed. They are focused on the scientific program and basic technical requirements to the instruments involved and, in particular, to the selection and study of sensors, circuits of the electronic converters and design optimization of measuring devices with implication for installation and operation on penetrators. An approach to metrological tests of every instrument of the package and the program of MEKOM operation on the surface of Mars, including algorithms of data processing with an es-timate of required information resources is discussed.
