Investigation of the Parameter Space Structure for a Well-Known Model of Population Dynamics

We consider the dynamics of a biological community described by two ordinary nonlinear equations with the form of nonlinearity consistent with biological ideas. The number of the steady states of the system as well as their stability is shown to depend essentially on the parameter values. The corresponding structure of the parameter space is investigated and the boundaries of different domains are found analytically.
