Location of Information Measuring Network of Air Monitoring System in the Purpose of Ecological Safety

A. A. Petrulevich, Hoang Viet Zao, G. A. Yarygin

Abstract: This paper is devoted to the problem of choosing the rational location of information measuring network of air monitoring system. It is considered that main function of the system is monitoring of ecological safety concerning recognition of pollution levels being dangerous for people's health. Some formal criteria are offered to estimate sufficiency of measuring information from stationary air monitoring stations sited at some location. A special algorithm is proposed to estimate several variants of stations' location. It takes into consideration a set of non-formalized requirements such as structural features of territory under control, engineering and cost limitations. This algorithm is applied to system developer on the basis of GIS modeling system.
