The Numerical Investigation of Oscillation Excitation in Backward-Wave Generator

Abstract: A three-dimensional model has been developed for numerical calculation of charget particles ensemble - electromagnetic field integration described by Maxwell-Vlasov's system. The code has been applied to the computing of electromagnetic field excitation by means of injection relativistic electron beam into dalay structure. The dispersion characteristics and wave properties of the concrete devices and the excitation process dependence on beam and structure parameters are investigated.
