Abstract:
The paper is aimed at the analysis of the finite-difference schemes for the solution of initially-value problem for linear one-dimensional advection equation with finite initial data. Some new schemes are presented in this paper. The proposed system of standart tests and information about numerical solution errors are used to compare new schemes with wellknown ones. The value of errors in different norms is the base for the comparative analysis of known schemes and construction of new numerical methods. This work is the continuation from previous one.
