Numerical Testing of Roe-Einfeldt Scheme for Hydrodynamics

The results of comparison of four schemes for hydrodynamics. are presented. We have investigated (i) Lax-Friedrichs, (ii) Roe, (iii) Roe-Einfeldt and (iv) Roe-Einfeldt with antidiffusive terms in Osher's form both analytically and using 1D and 2D tests. It was shown that Roe-Einfeldt-Osher scheme has minor numerical viscosity and accurately reproduces the solution even in the case of crude mesh.
