Estimations of Zero Moment Extremal Value Variations on the Discrete Raster

The work provides analytical estimations of zero order moment (number of square grid pixels lying in object image) variations due to image position changes in a raster. These estimations makes it possible to determine the accuracy of moment calculations and, thus, the accuracy of recognition methods based on it.
