Analysis of the Rocks' Response to Large Stresses, Based on Multimodulus Model of Continua Media

Some models for materials with different moduli in tension and compression are described. Two-dimensional finite element code, based on elastic isotropic multi-modulus model is presented. The correlation of numerical computations and experimental results is discussed.
