Consistent P1SA Scheme for Acceleration of Inner and Outer Iterations Convergence for the Neutron and Gamma-Rays Transport Equation in One-Dimensional Geometries: Implementation in Code Package REACTOR

A. M. Voloschenko, A. V. Voronkov, E. P. Sychugova

Abstract: The construction of the P1SA scheme for acceleration of inner and outer iterations convergence consistent with the weighted diamond difference discrete ordinates multigroup transport equation in one-dimensional geometries is discussed. The scattering anisotropy is operated in the Pk-approximation. The outer iterations acceleration technique is described for anisotropic scattering neutron thermalization problems and subcritical fission boundary problems. Some numerical examples are given. The described variant of the P1SA algorithm is implemented in the code package REACTOR.
