Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Supersonic Flow Around Blunt Body with the Needle-Eletrode in Front of It and in the Presence of Electric Discharge

Abstract: The results of numerical and experimental investigation of supersonic (M=4) flow around blunt body with the needle-eletrode in front of it and in the presence of electric discharge in stream are given. The experiments were executed in wind tunnel with stable flow parameters. The comparison between experimental and numerical data obtained under different assumption concerning mathematical model of the flow are presented.
