Filing System of Flash-Disk for PC-Compatible In-Board Computer

Paper describes Filing System of solid state disk, built on Intel`s Flash-memory 28F016 chips. The disk is option unit of PC-compatible in-board computer. Problems of building file structure in Flash-memory are discussed, algorithms of space allocation and of blocks wearing leveling are presented. Approach to emergency situations is outlined. Filing system runs under MS DOS as installable filing system and supports usual interface with calling programs via program interrupt 21h. System booting from Flash-disk is also supported.
