T. S. Babicheva, S. L. Babichev, V. P. Osipov

Abstract: The article discusses the functionality of the simulation module of transport processes, its architecture and methodical support of the computational procedure for solving typical transport problems determining vehicle’s delays on the signal-controlled crossroads of the complex structure. An assessment of the possibility of usage of the queuing theory was performed, analytical estimates of the parameters optimal and sustainable solutions for regulated intersections were obtained. Treiber's calculation scheme, which is adapted for the cases of car traffic on multilane roads and controlled intersections was used. The results of testing the module on a computing cluster type complex have been presented. Comparative analysis of solutions of typical problems in a series of numerical experiments was conducted.

Keywords: simulation modeling of transport processes, network computer lab, numerical experiment.
