Two spherical satellite relative motion control in formation flying via variable surface reflectivity

R. V. Dosaev, S. S. Tkachev

Abstract: The possibility of two spherical satellites relative motion control using solar radiation pressure is considered. The source of control is a variable reflectivity of one of the satellites surface. The perturbations of $\mathrm{J}_2$ harmonic and small eccentricity of satellites are taken into account.

Keywords: spherical solar sail, satellite relative motion control, variable surface reflectivity.
