Modeling the flow of multicomponent reactive gas by the example of hydrocarbons pyrolysis

Abstract: The article is devoted to mathematical modeling of the laminar flow of a multicomponent reactive mixture. The mixture is a viscous heat-conducting gas. There is a chemical reaction of the thermal decomposition of ethane. The article describes a mathematical model and a numerical algorithm with using high accuracy schemes. Computational and experimental data of ethane pyrolysis in a flowing reactor are compared.
