On some features of the numerical study of nonlinear models of social processes

O. G. Proncheva

Abstract: The paper deals with the technique for determining the moment of stopping a calculation when solving certain problems by numerical methods. The approach is based on theoretical insights about the solution, and also on the comparison of the results with the results obtained with asymptotic analysis. The proposed approach is attached to two specific models: the modeling of a slowly polarizing society and the “Power–Information–Society” system. All calculations are carried out in a specially designed GUI.

Keywords: mathematical modeling, GUI, numerical methods, multi scalable models, the model of making choices by individuals during information warfare in a society, “Power–Information–Society” system.
