Mathematical models of corruptional behavior with imperfect audit

D. A. Zenyuk, G. G. Malinetskii, D. S. Faller

Abstract: A simple stochastic model of corruptional behavior, which can be solved explicitly, is proposed. Moreover, a simulation model, which allows one to relax several restrictions of this analytical treatment and realistically describe the dynamics of collective behavior among corrupted actors, is also discussed. In both cases the possibility of a deal between a corrupted actor and an auditor has been taken into account. The problem of anti-corruptional strategy parameters optimization is addressed.

Keywords: mathematical sociology, corruption, stochastic simulation, dynamics on graphs.
