Earth, space and supercomputing: conjugate radiation problems

T. A. Sushkevich, S. A. Strelkov, S. V. Maksakova

Abstract: The most complicated problems of evolution, climate, ecology, global monitoring and remote sensing of the Earth (ERS) with hyperspectral approaches and nano-diagnostics of the natural environment and objects are proposed to be considered as conjugate. Electromagnetic radiation is a single physical field that unites the Earth's radiation field with radiation-active components. The insurmountable complexity of the problem lies in the fact that natural experiments are not permissible for the study of the planet, and only the monitoring and observations by different means and the mathematical modeling of the «scenarios» are possible.

Keywords: space, supercomputing, radiation transfer, conjugate direct and inverse problems, mathematical modeling, Earth, radiation forcing, monitoring, hyperspectral remote sensing, climate, ecology, nano-diagnostics, media.
