Perspectives of high-scale wind & other renewable capacities in Russia

O. I. Krivosheev, G. G. Malinetskiy

Abstract: We analyze a possibility of large scale wind-electro generation in Russia. We analyze measures in establishing several first gigawatts of generating capacities. We show that in a rather close perceptive wind energy-generation will depress hydrocarbon energetic in the world as a hole and partially the Russian raw export. Russia will face a need to turn to another type of economy where carbon-hydrogen raw export will have much smaller share.
Meeting needs of storage of excesses renewable generation after integration over 25% unpredictable sources one analyses traditional pumped hydro capacities in Russia. Also are considered most perspective alternative technologies of generation and storage — photo voltaic and batteries.

Keywords: wind power, energy, electro generation, crisis, Russia.
