E. V. Zipunova, A. V. Ivanov, E. B. Savenkov

Abstract: We consider numerical algorithm for solution of PDEs defined on evolving surfaces with boundary. The approach is based on clsest point projection technique which is used both to contstruct approximations of PDE and to describe surface evolution. The suggested approach is used to solve surface fluid flow inside evolving hydraulic fracture.

Keywords: surface PDEs, closest point projection method, finite elelements method, Reynodls equation.
