On the statistical analysis of psychology testing results

M. Yu. Voronina, Yu. N. Orlov

Abstract: In this paper the results of analysis of a psychological test that allows clustering of subjects into groups that meet certain patterns of specific abilities are presented. It is shown that the so-called Spearman's diminishing return effect is not universal and depends on the composition of the sample and the evaluation method. Patterns of accuracy classes of answers to 10 different types of questions that highlight specific characteristics of intelligence are constructed.

Keywords: psychometrical analysis, accuracy patterns, correlation, Spearman effect.
