On the problem of astrophysical jet outflows modeling

M. P. Galanin, V. V. Lukin, V. M. Chechetkin

Abstract: The overview of main mathematical models used for simulating of jets forming process is given. It is shown that the magnetohydrodynamic models can only explain the mechanism of flow collimation, while the effective acceleration of the substance must be described as a result of the central object radiation pressure. Questions relating to the modelling of radiation field generated by hot central objects and thin accretion disks in jets rising systems are discussed.
