Prototype of a decision support system in medical diagnostics based on a statistical approach

Abstract: A statistical approach is proposed for the preliminary diagnosis of human diseases by blood parameters as a system for supporting medical decision-making. The authors have developed a classifier based on polynomial regression and generating probabilistic estimates. Applications have been implemented that allow both diagnosing the patient's condition from practically healthy to the maximum degree of damage (oncology) for a particular body system, and determining the area of tumor localization in oncological disease.
