Two-fluids plasma acceleration in plane channel

Abstract: Here we discuss plasma acceleration in plane channel caused by ion-electron interactions, rather than the variability of the channel cross section. Research show that there are stable flows with strong — a hundreds of times — acceleration occurs in narrow, thick-order inertial length of the zone adjacent to the entrance of the channel. The results of these calculations can be used for channels with variable profiles using quasi one-dimensional approximation discussed in this paper.
