Abstract:
Electron emission from the surface of a solid barrier is considered. Free electrons are generated by scattering photons in the volume of the barrier. Modeling of electron generation and transfer is based on direct statistical processing of collisions – elastic, ionization and radiation scattering, as well as excitation of the medium. Energy-angular distributions of electrons leaving the barrier are calculated. Distributions are calculated in advance for a set of specified momenta of incident photons and are placed in the data warehouse. Spectral-angular distribution of emission electrons formed under the action of an arbitrary photon flux is calculated by convolution of its characteristics with data from the warehouse.
