Jackson and Bernstein-like inequalities for the finite superelement approximations

Jackson and Bernstein-like inequalities for the approximations of Fedorenko finite superelement method are derived. A number of properties of approximation spaces of the method are shown. The analysis is carried out on the example of Dirichlet problem, the results can be extended for the class of general linear elliptic problems.
