Abstract: The paper presents the review and classification of existing Machine Translation Systems, discusses the structure and functions of logical blocks of such systems and shows the brief history of machine translation. On the basis of given classification the ranking of the Machine Translation System “Crosslator 2.0” among other modern automatic text processing systems is discussed. The detailed analysis of Crosslator 2.0 functionality has been carried out in accordance with the mentioned structure system. The work is resulted in the analysis of “Crosslator 2.0” applicability for carrying out the experiments in the field of translation of knowledge from one subject domain to another.
