Shilnikov's chaos in the Rosenzweig–Macarthur system

This work reviews one of the chaotic modes (Shilnikov's chaos) in the singularly perturbed system of three differential equations, known as the Rosenzweig–Macarthur tritrophic food chain model. A special attention is paid to the appearing of the strange attractor in this model.
